The longest river in Finland, the Kemijoki, was once the gateway to the wilderness of Lapland and still is. On the trip, you can admire the natural canoeing route of the Kemijoki and the last colors of Ruska.
During the days, you will hear stories about the nature of Sompio, hunting, swimming, military history and the harnessing of the mighty Kemijoki and its consequences.
Meals, sauna and accommodation
The first campsite has more opportunities for restaurant-quality dining at Samperin Savotta or Loma Joosula. The second dinner will be organized as a picnic meal at the Marjasuvanto holiday village. During the trip, you will have the opportunity to try different saunas.
Binding participation fee is 100e, which includes event transportation, guidance, equipment rentals (no electric bikes), group tent opportunities, orientations, event information.
There are places in the piloting phase of the event for 5 customers in the canoeing group + 1-2 guides and 5 customers in the cycling group + 1-2 guides.
