CAMPING SERVICE AND FACILITIES

Electricity: Guests have their own electricity control, which works entirely in the network with a computer, smartphone, or tablet online. If there is still no electricity, please contact the Hotel reception at +358 10 382 5151.

Saunas:

The saunas are warm daily; sauna times vary according to the season.

Up-to-date information can also be found on the wall of the service room.

Especially during high seasons, avoid excessively long stays in the sauna and facilities so that everyone has time to go to the sauna on a reasonable schedule.

Washing machines: The washing machine is intended for use by Camping guests. Shifts are reserved in the booking booklet. The washing machine must be emptied and released as soon as possible after the completion of the wash.

Ensure that everything stays tidy after use and that rubbish and empty bottles are taken with them / to recycling bins.

Recycling: Sorting points for metal, glass, paper, and cardboard can be found in front of the maintenance building, right next to the caravan area. More recycling opportunities, such as plastic, can be found at the K-market parking lot. In case of problems, please get in touch with Hotel Pyhätunturi reception.

SIte rules

  • Quiet hours in the caravan area are from 23:00 to 07:00. One warning will be given for any disturbance. If disturbances continue, necessary measures will be taken to ensure peace in the caravan area.

  • Each caravan pitch is marked with a numbered stake. The stake must not be moved from its place. A caravan or motorhome must be positioned so that the numbered stake is at the driver's-side rear corner when reversing into the pitch. There must be at least four metres of clearance between caravans. The length of a standard caravan/motorhome pitch is 9.5 metres. The towing vehicle should be parked in front of the caravan or in an adjacent parking space. Do not park in a neighbouring pitch that appears empty, as it may be reserved as a seasonal pitch or rented for a day or week.

  • To respect the privacy of each pitch holder, walking through or cutting across pitches is not permitted.

  • The speed limit in the caravan area is 20 km/h.

  • Driving snowmobiles or ATVs is prohibited, except for transfer and maintenance operations.

  • Dogs and other pets must be kept on a leash and pet waste must be disposed of in rubbish bins.

  • Items that can easily be buried by snow, such as electrical cables and parts of awnings, must be clearly marked so they are not damaged during snow clearing. If markings are insufficient, the caravan owner is responsible for any resulting damage.

  • Electrical cables must be placed so that they do not end up buried under the snow.

  • Loose decking or platforms placed beside the caravan must be marked at the outer corners with sufficiently tall marker stakes. If an unmarked or poorly marked platform becomes buried under the snow and is caught by a snow shovel or snow blower, it may damage the caravan; Rukakeskus Oy or the contractor will not be liable for such repairs.

  • Please keep the number on the power post for your pitch clear of snow and frost.

  • Please keep the underside of your caravan accessible/open on at least one side in case of a gas leak.

  • At the end of the rental period, the tenant must return the reserved pitch in a tidy condition and remove any structures, decking, mats, etc. they have brought.

  • Disturbances in the caravan area should be reported to the Ski-Inn reception, tel. +358 10 382 5151. When reception is closed, Securitas can be reached on the same number.

Safety distance between trailers and vehicles

The safety distance must be at least 4 metres from:

  • another recreational vehicle
  • another awning
  • another canopy
  • another RV site’s wooden platform or its related fence
  • a separate tent
  • a motorhome used as a towing vehicle
  • a towing vehicle that is not part of the same fire load unit

Eco-friendly accommodation

At Pyhä Ski Resort, we are dedicated to preserving snowy winters and nature. The caravan area runs on renewable energy sources and is, therefore, an environmentally friendly option. The area is located right next to the ski resort's lower station — everything is conveniently within walking distance, and you don't need a car to get around.
