Rugged but beautiful summer in Pyhä-Luosto
Pyhätunturi (Pyhä fell) is known for it's impressive rocky fells and dramatic gorges. You can easily admire these landscapes with even the youngest family members by taking the scenic chairlift to the top of Kultakero. At the summit, the adventure continues along the Huttu-Ukko Art Trail, featuring imaginative sculptures and exciting giant swings.
The most accessible of Pyhä’s gorges is Aittakuru, a natural amphitheatre shaped by nature itself. At the other end of the fell road in Luosto, you can climb to the top of Ukko-Luosto, made easier by steps built across the rocky terrain.
Pyhä has everything a modern traveller needs: restaurants, accommodation from a cottage to a boutique hotel and activities from disc golf to mountain biking. When developing our services, responsibility and sustainability are our top priorities. By protecting nature and the environment, we ensure that Pyhätunturi is preserved for future generations as well.
