Slope safety

On the slopes, everyone is responsible for slope safety – by following the rules, everyone enjoys and feels safe. Ski Patrol operates on Pyhä's ski slopes and their job is to take care of the slope safety.

SKI PATROL MONITORS AND DEVELOPS SLOPE SAFETY

Ski Patrol operates on Pyhä's ski slopes. Their task is to monitor and develop safety issues on the slopes. Ski Patrol guides and advises, takes preventive and safety operations on the slopes, and carries out first aid and rescue missions. The Ski Patrol moves with snowmobile and rescue sled or on skis. Ski Patrol is easy to identify with their red-yellow uniform.

Common rules on the slopes ensure that everyone enjoys being on the slopes and feels safe.

In the event of an accident on the slope and first aid is needed on site, report the accident by calling the Emergency number in Finland 112. Ski Patrol and first aid will then guide the injured person to further treatment if necessary. In the event of a minor accident you can inform the lift personnel at the ski lift.
