Snowsurfing refers to the strapless sliding on top of a snowsurfboard. The stance is more free-flowing, and variations in gravity and posture affect the riding experience and sliding on the snow.
On guided snowsurfing tours, we always choose the location based on the current weather and snow conditions, aiming to find enjoyable untouched powder snowfields or forested areas. We use Ilahu boards, designed and crafted with love from natural materials in Finnish Lapland.
Outdoor Artisans organizes winter snowsurfing camps, which also include handcrafting your own snowsurfboard. Additionally, the course offers the opportunity to ride the snowsurfboard and learn the secrets of the sport while enjoying the magnificent mountain scenery of Pyhä-Luosto.
