Welcome to Pyhä for GTD

Griffin Tech Days (GTD) is Finnish Special Forces’ arena to test and evaluate technology and gear in a cold and arctic environment. 2026 event will be held in Rovajärvi training area 9 – 13 February 2026.

Located in the heart of Finnish Lapland, Pyhä is just a short drive from the Rovajärvi training area, making it the ideal base for participants of Griffin Tech Days. Surrounded by Arctic wilderness and equipped with modern services, Pyhä offers a perfect setting for both demanding field operations and comfortable recovery.

We have accommodation, dinners, activities and more available for booking. You can also book a daily shared transfer between the event site and Pyhä, ensuring smooth and reliable transportation throughout the event week.

Accommodation update, December 18th:

Pyhä Ski-Inn Accommodation (Hotel Pyhätunturi, Kultakero, Suites, PyhäLinna) is now fully booked for the event. Thank you everyone for booking Pyhä Ski-Inn!

Restaurants and pre-booked dinners

Pyhä hosts a number of restaurants around the destination. Below we have chosen two different options available for pre-booking. Both restaurants are located right next to all Ski-Inn accommodation types.

These meals can be pre-booked on the registration form. They will be invoiced in advance.

Daily dinners 8.–9.2. & 11.–12.2.

(GDT Welcome & Get Together -party is hosted on 10.2.)

CAMP KITCHEN&BAR

Dinner buffet 35 €/person.
Dinner is served from 19 to 21. CAMP Kitchen&Bar serves a wide variety of delicious dishes From Turku to Thailand, Nuorgam to New York and back.

POPOLO PIZZA BUFFET

37,50 €/person
Pizza Buffet is open from 20 to 22. Featuring Italian and local flavors. Pizzas baked in a wood-fired oven straight from our authentic oven. Includes pizzas, various salads, olives, cold cuts, cheeses and focaccia.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served in Hotel Pyhätunturi's Restaurant, Camp Kitchen 9.-13.2. from 5:45 – 10 am.

Breakfast is included in the price only for staying in hotel accommodation at Hotel Pyhätunturi and Kultakero Rakka rooms. If you choose to book apartment accommodation, please pre-book the breakfast for your party on the registration form to ensure availability.

Transfer to venue

Are you interested to book daily bus transfers for time period 9.-13.2.2026 to Rovajärvi venue area and back?

When filling the form, please let us know the dates and how many persons would be needing the daily transfers and we will get back to you with pricing when we know the amount of participants taking the transfer.

Getting to Pyhä

GTD Welcome & Get Together Party on 10.2.

GTD Welcome & Get Together Party will be hosted in Pyhä CAMP Kitchen&Bar on February 10th. More information of the get together and registration is coming later.

Ski Passes

We offer ski passes for the participants of the event 10% than regular price. The discount tickets are purchased by using a discount code in Pyhä Ski Resort's ticket webshop.

The code will be delivered for participants via email closer to the event.

Activities

Ice swimming & sauna at Kairosmaja

If you want to try ice swimming & Sauna at Kairosmaja, please let us know on the registration form. Sauna is available on Monday 9.2 at 19-21 and the price is 25 €/person. Take your own swimsuit and towel with you.

We do not offer transportation to Kairosmaja so the price does not include transfers. We recommend booking a taxi for your group or taking a private car if possible.
