Bättre Folk Sauna and Ice Swimming

At the Kairosmaja lakeside sauna, you can enjoy a relaxing sauna experience during the Bättre Folk weekend's morning hours. The price includes bus transportation to the sauna, departing from in front of Hotel Pyhätunturi. The bus will also take guests back to the hotel after the session.

Remember to bring your swimsuit, towel, drinks, and perhaps a pair of wool socks for the ice dip! Each sauna session lasts 1 hour.

Bus departures from Hotel Pyhätunturi on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 9:45, 10:00, 10:45, and 11:00.
Please check your ticket for your exact departure time.

Return buses leave from the sauna back to the hotel at 11:15, 11:30, 12:15, and 12:30.
Be sure to arrive on time, as the buses will not wait for latecomers.

In this ski class, the qualified instructors of the Pyhätunturi Ski School will guide you to the beginning of downhill skiing and you will get to know the skiing equipment in a supportive environment. To participate in this ski class, you need a valid lift ticket as well as skiing equipment. You can participate on skis or snowboard.

Price: 12 euros

A special priced lift ticket for the Friday evening skiing is on sale which also includes standard skiing equipment. The evening skiing is also included in the day ticket price.

Welcome to the wonderful world of freeriding!

In this guided class around the freeride areas of the ski resort, you will get a glimpse of what Pyhä has to offer for freeriding. If the snow situation does not allow safe movement and skiing outside the slopes, we will familiarize ourselves with freeriding technique and equipment on the side of the slopes. In order to participate, in addition to solid skiing skills, you need a valid lift ticket, a backpack and skiing equipment. Price €16.

Equipment: Slightly wider skis or a wider snowboard (ideal for freeriding) makes it easier to ride off piste. Pyhä Ski Resort lends snow safety equipment to all participants.

Bättre Folk Sledding in the Family Slopes

Bättre Folk festival's joyful Sledding is organized in the Family Slope (Slope 13) on Saturday 31 Jan from 6:30pm to 8pm.

Sleds can be borrowed next to the terrace of the restaurant Huttuhippu. You can stop by the restaurant to warm up with a cup of hot chocolate.
