Track slot instructions

Slope bookings are possible for the following slopes in Pyhä: Slope 3 (Piste Palander), 4 (Polar), and 6 (North slope Red). When looking down the slope, track A is on the left side, track B is on the right side, and track C is between A and B.

The information needed for a reservation is the date and time, name of the team, name of the coach and his/her phone number, size of the training group, ages of the trainers, and discipline (SL/GS). Notice! Before competitions, the exact track and time for training will be decided in the coaches' meeting, which will be held daily.

No other slopes can be booked for training purposes. Please note that slope bookings are not possible when slopes are reserved for public use! At high seasons (Christmas, New Year, ski holiday weeks 8-10, Easter), training (including freeskiing) must occur in the slope area reserved for training.

At the beginning of the season, during the busiest training season, and possibly at other times, the exact training shifts and times, taking skill levels into account, are shared on-site in the coaches' daily meetings. At this time, you need to indicate the dates when the team has booked its track shift, the number of participants, and the discipline. We try to offer each team at least 2 training shifts per day. If a date becomes full of track shifts, we will inform you about it when making the reservation.

Track sessions are generally allocated for 1.5 to 2 hours, and a maximum of two sessions per day can be booked. Please note that we aim to provide high-quality training conditions for as many people as possible. For this reason, we may combine small groups if it makes sense based on skill levels.

Instructions for track booking calendar

The slope training calendars have been divided into separate calendars based on the slopes, which are shown below. The calendars display the reservations, the name of the club and the reserved area (A, B, or C). It is recommended to switch the view to week or day from the top right corner, as this makes it easier to see the reservations:
