Bättre Folk i Fjällen Accommodation Packages – January 29–February 1, 2026
Prices include 2 two-day ski lift passes. Festival tickets are sold separately. Accommodation packages are available via Tiketti. There’s no extra charge for additional guests, as long as they fit within the accommodation capacity.

Walking to Tajukangas Outdoor Stage:
Tajukangas is located about 400 meters from Hotel Pyhätunturi. Walk along the hotel building towards slopes and past restaurant Mesta. Continue through slopes 4 and 5. After the slopes, continue along the service road until you find yourself at the venue. The slope area is relatively flat to walk on, but it may be soft and sink a few centimeters. Accessibility: Unfortunately, the area or access to it is not accessible during the winter.

Wear Warm Clothes:
Please be prepared with as warm clothing as possible. For your feet, you should choose warm, well-soled shoes with a firm sole. You should actively monitor your temperature and that of your friends. If you're surprised by the cold, you should go to your own accommodation to sleep or warm yourself up by the fireplace.

Drinks:
1664 Bar is on site and open during the event. You are not allowed to enjoy your own alcoholic beverages on the spot. The bar accepts only card payments. The hut and toilets are not located in the serving area.

Let's Keep the Fell Clean:
Take with you everything that you have brought with you. There are very few litter boxes in the middle of nature.

Toilet:
There are two outdoor toilets.

Smoking:
Smoking is only allowed in a designated place away from the crowd and the stage.

You can get to the north in an environmentally friendly way along the tracks. We recommend the night train to Kemijärvi, especially for those coming to Pyhä from the south. There is a bus connection from Kemijärvi in ​​the morning (about 1 hour) to Pyhätunturi (Pelkosenniemi). During daytime, the train takes you to Rovaniemi, from where you can take the ski bus to Pyhä. Check connections and book trips: VR and Matkahuolto. 

Finnair and Norwegian fly to Rovaniemi. The ski bus (about 2 hours) runs to Pyhätunturi (Pelkosenniemi) about four times a day after almost all arriving flights. Please check the bus connections at Matkahuolto and also book bus tickets in advance (if possible in the online store) so that the bus company can prepare with large enough cars.

We also warmly recommend carpooling. It's okay to call out for rides, for example, in the festival's Facebook event.

Pyhä recommends compensating air travel. 

The heart of Pyhä lies at Hotel Pyhätunturi: Kultakeronkatu 21, 98530 Pyhätunturi.

CAMP Kitchen & Bar

Bowls, burgers and other flavors from around the world. On Bättre Folk evenings, CAMP turns into a festival area at 7pm and the kitchen exceptionally closes earlier. The last table reservations for the evenings start at 5:30pm (with a festival ticket at 6:00pm), so book your table well in advance: pyha@campkitchen.fi +358 50 477 6640. Extended breakfast hours during festival on Sat and Sun from 7:30am to 11:00am. More info

Pub food; wings, french fries, burgers. The kitchen is open until 11:30pm. More info

Hanki Bar

In the lower part of the North Slopes. Variable dishes, e.g. pasta, risotto, Asian, salads. Tutustu.

Karhu Bar

Located at the Tajukangas outdoor stage. Open during Pakkasdisco Sat 27 Jan 00–02am.

Huttuhippu

Good food with a relaxed approach. Fell classics and pizzas. The kitchen is open on Friday and Saturday until 10:30pm. More info 

Neidon Sydän

The menu selection includes e.g. soup lunch, savory breads, showcase products from our own kitchen, specialty coffees and a high-quality selection of drinks. More info

Popolo

Italian style food: pastas, pizzas. Kitchen open until 11:00pm. Special dinner buffet and dj during festival nights. More info

Hööri

Various delicious plates to enjoy and share. More info

Tsokka

At the top of the fell. A selection of salty and sweet waffles and soup. More info
