The PyhäExpress chairlift serves pedestrians as a scenic lift during its normal operating hours. Find the opening hours below the image.

A trip to Pyhä is not complete if you haven't seen the landscape from the top of the fell, right at the edge of the national park. At the summit, you’ll find Restaurant Tsokka, Pyhä Dreams wine bar, a scenic hut where you can relax by the fireplace, the iconic old lift chair, glimpses of the Huttu-Ukkonen art trail peeking through the snow, and a panoramic viewing deck.

Pedestrian tickets are not sold online. The most convenient way to buy a pedestrian ticket is from a ticket machine. The nearest machine is located in front of Alavuokraamo, right next to the lower station of the lift. Only card payments can be made to the machine. Rental shops sell pedestrian tickets from the service desk, as well as the reception of Hotel Pyhätunturi.

Our illuminated sledding hill keeps the laughter going long after the lifts stop running!

The lower part of Run 13 (Family Slope) turns into a perfect, flood-lit sledding hill half an hour after the lifts close, and you can sled there until 8 PM. The half-hour immediately after closing is reserved for slope maintenance, so please wait until it’s complete. The slope groomer continues maintenance after 8 PM.

Note! The sledding hill is closed on Fridays between 19 December and 3 April. The sledding hill will open on winter when the slope has enough snow.

You can sled down the illuminated lower part of the slope, starting from below the bridge of Slope 14 (Skiway). Please note that sledding is only allowed 30 minutes after the slopes close. You can rent and buy the sledges from the Kultakero rental shop or the Lower rental shop. Pyhä K-market also sells sledges.

Please keep in mind that sledding on ski tracks or roads is prohibited for everyone's safety.

Floorball tournament is a fun, playful game for the whole family on top of Pyhä. Gather a team of three from family members or friends and take the lift to the top of Pyhätunturi. Games are organised in front of restaurant Tsokka.

Participation in the game is free of charge. Registration takes place on site when the games start.

If the weather is very bad and it is not possible to organise floorball game at the top, the games will be played at the top of slope 16 (Huttumaa).

Come and experience a husky sled ride and meet the delightful huskies at the kennel. Husky Safaris offers the chance to experience a husky sled ride during the winter holiday weeks 8-10. The rides are conducted as short non-stop rides on Thursdays & Fridays from 12:00 to 14:00, and at the same time, you have the opportunity to explore the kennel and meet the charming huskies on your own. Children can participate in the ride and kennel visit only when accompanied by an adult.

At Burton's test center you can test the new boards of the season both in the park and on the slopes! In addition to the boards, you can also test the super popular StepOn bindings and shoes. You can try out the equipment for free at the Burton tent in front of the rental office.

Ice Karting at Pyhä is a totally new experience that is fun and exciting. It is an activity that is easy to learn and get going, but difficult to master. Ice Karting allows everyone who is 15 years old or older, and taller than 150cm, to drive and compete with similar karts. The Ice Karting race gives you something to talk about for a long time! Karts in principle are the same as the ones used in indoor karting, but with studded tires. The program consists of practice, qualifying and race.
Three best drivers will be awarded with a medal!

Our Nature Safari is an easy and beginner friendly trip to enchanting winter scenery. This safari will take you to nearby forests and fells silently and without any gasoline odour. There will be time for photographs, enjoying the views and a break with warm drinks. Electric snowmobile safaris are a great experience for all nature lovers.

The transportation departs from Rovaniemi in the mornings and leaves from Luosto on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 11:25 AM. You can choose to return either at 2:20 PM or 4:20 PM.

An ice fishing trip to a river or a lake. After gearing up in warm winter gear and taking our ice fishing equipment with us, we will go by car to a river or a lake for some ice fishing. We usually rather drive a bit longer to get to a good ice fishing place. Our guide tells us the about ice fishing and what we might catch. We will drill our own holes and we will fish using bait. We have a chance to catch a perch, roach, or even a pike or a whitefish. We usually check either a fishing net, or a different kind of a fish trap. Program duration is 3 hours.

Hop on the electric fatbike and experience the future of trail riding. Once-in-a-lifetime cycling tour in the picturesque Arctic!

Experience the reindeer drill - the way the locals have moved from one place to another in the forests of Lapland for centuries. During a half-hour reindeer safari you will experience how it feels in quiet snowy woods and how is the Lappish winter forest life: hares and other Lappish animals footprints on snow and reindeer running free. You will be guided by local guides during your tour and at the end of the tour you can feed the reindeer and explore the reindeer trail.

Includes Sleight ride, guiding in English and Finnish and visit at reindeer trail with chance to feed reindeer.

Dress up warmly considering the current weather, you can pack an extra layer of clothing.
