A visit to Pyhä isn't complete without taking in the breathtaking fell-top views beside the national park. At the summit, you'll find Restaurant Tsokka, the Pyhä Dreams wine bar, a cozy scenic hut with a fireplace, a panoramic viewing deck, and snowy glimpses of the Huttu-Ukko art trail.

Our illuminated sledding hill keeps the laughter going long after the lifts stop running!

The lower part of Run 13 (Family Slope) turns into a perfect, flood-lit sledding hill half an hour after the lifts close, and you can sled there until 8 PM. The half-hour immediately after closing is reserved for slope maintenance, so please wait until it’s complete. The slope groomer continues maintenance after 8 PM.

Note! The sledding hill is closed on Fridays between 19 December and 3 April. The sledding hill will open on winter when the slope has enough snow.

You can sled down the illuminated lower part of the slope, starting from below the bridge of Slope 14 (Skiway). Please note that sledding is only allowed 30 minutes after the slopes close. You can rent and buy the sledges from the Kultakero rental shop or the Lower rental shop. Pyhä K-market also sells sledges.

Please keep in mind that sledding on ski tracks or roads is prohibited for everyone's safety.

The fun slalom competition for the whole family takes place at the Blue Slope (5), on the Helly Hansen timing track. Starting point: At the intersection of the slope 5 and slope 5c. You can participate either with skis or with a snowboard. Registration at the starting point of the track. The participation is free of charge.

Floorball tournament is a fun, playful game for the whole family on top of Pyhä. Gather a team of three from family members or friends and take the lift to the top of Pyhätunturi. Games are organised in front of restaurant Tsokka.

Participation in the game is free of charge. Registration takes place on site when the games start.

If the weather is very bad and it is not possible to organise floorball game at the top, the games will be played at the top of slope 16 (Huttumaa).

Mimmi Free'kend is a feel-good freeride event where participants learn new skills and enjoy skiing or snowboarding in good company, outside of marked slopes, on the off-piste areas at Pyhä. The most important thing is doing things together and enjoying the thrill of riding. You can join even if you're coming alone, as you'll find company on site.

We organise avalanche safety courses in accordance with the FINLAV – Finnish Avalanche Training system for all freeriders and those who need avalanche safety skills in their work. You can find more information about the course content a bit further down.
